My name is Jessica and I'm Sister Draudt's sister in law. I get the special privilege of helping sister Draudt with her blog a little bit while she is away. I look forward to sharing some of her exciting experiences with everyone.
6/11 Andrea becomes Sister Draudt!
Tuesday night we (the family) got the special opportunity to go with Andrea as she was set apart to be a missionary for the next 18 months. President Thomas gave Andrea a really neat blessing and I know she is going to be an amazing missionary. President Thomas also gave us as a family a special challenge to write Sister Draudt every week. She is going to be great and can use all the prayers and support we can give her.
Sister Draudt was so grateful for everyone in her family that was able to be there. She made a last minute trip up to visit her niece Brooklyn right before she was set apart since she couldn't be there.
Andrea is such a loving, giving young woman and I know we all can't wait to see the great work she will do.
After Andrea was set apart Guenther took us all out for Sister Draudt's "Last Meal". We went to The Spaghetti Factory and it was delicious. We all enjoyed sitting around the table listening to Sister Draudt's older brothers share all their missionary stories and giving her some funny advice. You can tell her big brothers are so proud and excited for their sister.

Andrea is a wonderful young lady and will be a great missionary. She is a person who is beautiful inside and out. She has a strong testimony of the gospel that burns bright in her soul. She is dedicated for the work and is eager to share the gospel that is so important in her life.
